Interim Accounting Consultant | Remote | $60-$80/hr | 4-6 Month Contract

We`re supporting a fast-growing, mission-driven tech company in the agriculture/fintech space looking for an experienced Accounting Consultant to lead key finance transformation initiatives.

This role will focus on audit support, month-end close optimization, and system/process improvements. Ideal candidates will have experience in dynamic environments, strong project management skills, and the ability to drive change across accounting functions.

Key Highlights:

• Lead audit coordination and transformation projects
  
• Help reduce MEC timeline (from 19+ days to 5)
  
• Support system implementation and best practices (Asana, FloQast, NetSuite)
  
• Build internal and executive-facing presentations
  
• Some light GL work (10-15%)

Requirements:

• Senior Accountant, Manager, or Consulting background
  
• Month-end close, audit, and systems experience
  
• Project management skills; comfortable with change
  
• NetSuite strongly preferred; CPA/public accounting a plus

Remote role (PST preferred). Start ASAP through August, with extension likely.
