As a Tax Analyst, your work as a caregiver starts in our Finance Department, where you will prepare federal, state, local and/or international tax filings and investigate various related issues. In this role, you can use your knowledge and training to help ensure our hospital system stays financially stable, allowing us to continue becoming the best place to receive healthcare.

A caregiver in this position works remotely from 8:00AM - 5:00PM, with in-office work requirements as needed.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Prepare federal, state, local and international tax returns.
• Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations and quarterly tax provision workpapers.
• Research and analyze tax issues.
• Prepare appropriate response to notices from tax authorities.
• Provide tax assistance to the various departments and affiliates of the Cleveland Clinic Health system.
  
  

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance OR Associate’s Degree and two years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma/GED and four years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
  
  

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certification
• Knowledge of CCH Access tax software
• Four years of relevant experience
• Experience working in a tax department of a corporation or in public accounting and with international experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
• Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Ability to operate a computer or other office equipment.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $20.77

Maximum hourly: $31.68

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
