Job summary

Van's Kitchen in Dallas, TX is seeking an Accounting Clerk II to manage transactional accounting across accounts payable and accounts receivable. The role reports to the Assistant Controller and uses Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to process invoices, receipts, and payments.

This full-time position requires 2–3 years of relevant experience and an associated degree; candidate should work well independently within established controls.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2–3 years AP/AR or bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Familiarity with three-way matching and AP as it relates to purchasing and inventory.
• Experience with EDI invoicing systems and customer portals desirable.
• Working knowledge of accounting software; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred.
• Comfortable working independently within established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Enter and perform three-way matching on routine PO-based invoices within tolerance.
• Enter non-PO invoices with documented approval from budget owner.
• Collect and package vendor onboarding documentation and provide to Staff Accountant.
• Prepare proposed payment register and process payments after release.
• Resolve vendor payment discrepancies and reconcile statements.
• Maintain vendor contact information and respond to inquiries.
