Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates' degree in Accounting preferred; combination of education and accounting experience may be considered.
• Minimum of three years of work experience in an accounting role within a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
• Proficient in Excel and general computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, post, reconcile, and balance daily transactions to the General Ledger.
• Generate daily, monthly, and annual financial reports and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with Operations on charge backs, returns, and adjustments.
• Process Federal Reserve reports and Fed Wire activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of member and employee information.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing entries.
