Job summary

Excela Protect, based at Daniel Island, Charleston, SC, seeks an experienced Accounting Clerk to process transactions and maintain AR/AP while supporting the month-end close. The role reports to the Accounting Manager in a fast-growing finance team.

Qualified candidates have an Associate degree or 2 years of related experience, strong Excel and communication skills, and familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software; onsite with hybrid option after acclimation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a business-related field or 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• QuickBooks/Accounting Software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions and maintain accounts receivable and payable.
• Support the month-end close process.
• Collaborate with Accounting Manager and finance team.
