Job summary

Marquee Staffing is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist in Stanton, CA, to support AP activities and assist AR when needed. The role is Temp-to-Hire with a pay rate of $24/hour and standard hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some overtime on Saturdays.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of AP experience, basic AR knowledge, and experience entering invoices, reviewing AP batches, processing checks, and assisting with month-end balancing.

Position: Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist

Stanton, CA

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $24/hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Overtime: Some Saturdays may be needed

What You Will Do

This job is mostly Accounts Payable (AP) work. You will also help with Accounts Receivable (AR) when needed. You will do daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and must be careful and accurate.

Daily Tasks

• Make remote check deposits
• Sort and hand out incoming mail
• Help with Accounts Payable tasks
• Help with Accounts Receivable tasks when needed

Weekly Tasks

• Check and review AP batches for 5 locations
• Manage and pass out internal mail
• Enter invoices
• Post and print checks

Monthly Tasks

• Help with month-end balancing and cleanup
• Process union hours
• Process Anthem bills

Experience Required

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Basic knowledge of Accounts Receivable
• Experience with: Entering invoices
• Reviewing AP batches
• Processing checks
• Helping with month-end balancing
