Job summary

Valknut Inc, a manufacturing firm in Liberty, MO, is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk for part-time support. You will oversee daily accounts payable workflows, verify invoices, and perform month-end reconciliations in collaboration with the Controller.

You’ll consolidate AP, manage aging analyses, assist with cash forecasting, and ensure compliance with GAAP and plant safety standards. Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting/finance/business.
• 5+ years of accounting/AP experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP/finance systems and Excel.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Familiarity with OSHA/ISO plant safety standards.
• Experience auditing invoices for tax compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and match POs to receipts.
• Manage monthly AP consolidation, aging analyses, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare weekly cash forecasting and annual 1099 reporting.
• Audit invoices for sales tax compliance and maintain vendor system.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing and supply chain to resolve billing issues.
