Job summary

Hudson Automotive Group's All Star Parts Center in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our growing accounting team.

The ideal candidate will handle vouchers, invoices, checks, and account statements with attention to detail, and thrive in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive accounting experience preferred.
• Experience preparing vouchers, invoices, checks, and reports.
• Strong documentation and transaction recording abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Process vouchers, invoices, checks, and statements.
• Post and verify financial transactions and totals.
• Prepare periodic account statements and reports.
• Support accounting team with month-end close tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive accounting (preferred).
• Experience preparing vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records.
• Strong track record of compiling and sorting documents (invoices, checks, etc.) and substantiating business transactions.
• Prior experience verifying and posting details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts.
• Background computing and recording charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, and freight charges.
