Job summary

Hornbeck Offshore is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support accounting and financial reporting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and data gathering for disclosures. The role also covers invoicing customers according to contract terms and providing essential administrative support.

The Analyst will assist in general ledger activities, monthly close, and collaboration with management to improve accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience in billing or accounting preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review invoices and credit memos per terms.
• Maintain customer billing guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in collections of outstanding receivables.
• Prepare general ledger journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with project cost tracking and asset accounting.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
