Job summary

Amazon's Global Accounting BI and Analytics team is seeking a highly analytical BI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions supporting the global accounting organization.

You will partner with accountants and financial analysts, automate reporting, and drive data-driven insights across multiple businesses. The role requires strong SQL, data modeling, and visualization skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity and big data in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of data analysis with Redshift/Oracle/NoSQL experience.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Quicksight or similar).
• Experience with analytics tools (Excel/Tableau/PowerBI etc.) and basic statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Accounting and software teams on enterprise projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions for global stakeholders.
• Coordinate prioritization and end-to-end delivery within timelines.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and data processing needs for global accounting.
