WonderWorks is an indoor amusement park that combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands-on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.

WonderWorks (Branson) is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team!

Our WONDERful Accounting Assistants expertly and accurately balance tills, manage bank deposits, and train in cash register operations.

Responsibilities:

• Wrap cash and coins in preparation for requests for change and prepare and assign tills for the day
• Verify and balance safe contents at the beginning and end of each shift and enter denominations on the safe log
• Validate the register tills from the previous day of business
• Separate, audit, and enter daily vouchers into the POS system and file
• Verify and audit coupons, verify coupon counts, and sort coupons by type
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills
• Strong mathematical skills
• 1 year of cash-handling experience required
• High school diploma required
• Education in finance or accounting preferred
• Previous work experience in a banking, accounting, or finance role preferred
• Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and weather conditions
