Job summary

Digital Currency Group is seeking an Accounting Associate to support core accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, intercompany activity, and close deliverables. You’ll work under the Accounting Manager to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Finance, FP&A, Tax, and Legal, supporting audits, documentation, and process improvements across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; CPA eligibility preferred.
• Big Four or other large public accounting firm experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial controls.
• Experience supporting key components of the close process in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting consolidated financial reporting and multi-entity entities.
• Experience supporting external audits and audit-ready documentation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with process improvement focus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience using NetSuite and Concur is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations including GL, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and prepaids.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close with schedules and issue resolution.
• Review balance sheet and income statement accounts for variances and issues.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for audit completeness.
• Support intercompany and intracompany activity and resolve differences across entities.
• Coordinate with subsidiary finance teams for timely financial information.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies; escalate complex matters.
• Support internal controls and audit readiness; assist with external audits.
• Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal on initiatives and processes.
• Maintain master data integrity and assist budgeting/forecasting as needed.
