Job summary

Digital Currency Group is seeking an Accounting Associate to support core accounting operations, ensuring the integrity and timeliness of financial reporting across a multi-entity organization. You will assist with the close process, intercompany activity, and audit readiness while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve processes.

Reporting to the CAO, you will work with the Accounting Manager to review work and develop proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA eligibility or progress toward CPA preferred.
• Experience in multi-entity environments.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with external audits.

Responsibilities

• Support general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations and close processes.
• Produce schedules and resolve items for monthly/quarterly/year-end close.
• Analyze balance-sheet and P&L accounts for variances.
• Prepare intercompany accounting and settlements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal on initiatives.
• Assist with audit readiness and documentation.
• Maintain master data and reporting mappings.
• Support budgeting and forecasting as needed.
