Job summary

Husqvarna Construction in Olathe, KS is seeking an Accounting Associate to support our Finance team with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. You will help maintain general ledger accuracy, assist with audits and tax requests, and manage invoices and financial master data.

The role welcomes candidates with an Associate degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent experience, plus solid Excel skills and ERP exposure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in accounting/finance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and intermediate Excel.
• Experience with an ERP system is a plus.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare routine journal entries and assist with monthly financial reporting.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end close activities and recurring accounting tasks.
• Assist with internal and external audit and tax documentation requests.
• Coding invoices and maintaining general ledger accuracy.
• Update accounting records, commission/KPI files, and financial master data.
• Review service accounts, leases, and contracts for updates.
• Support a variety of administrative and accounting projects as needed.
