Position Summary

Our client, a company in the entertainment and gaming industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and Japanese-English bilingual Accounting Associate to support daily accounting operations.

This position will primarily handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense processing, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, positive, eager to learn, and comfortable communicating with teams in both the U.S. and Japan.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, vendor invoices, and employee expense reports.
• Review and record credit card transactions using QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare customer invoices and assist with accounts receivable.
• Reconcile transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Compile sales data and prepare routine financial reports.
• Communicate with internal teams, Japan headquarters, and auditors as needed.
• Support general accounting and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Japanese/English bilingual proficiency is required (written and verbal).
• 0–4 years of accounting experience preferred (ideally 2–4 years).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, including AP/AR.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications
