Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our CAAS (Client Accounting & Advisory Services) Manufacturing Industry team based out of the Boston MA or Quincy MA office. This role supports client accounting tasks across multiple accounts and industries within a collaborative firm culture.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and accounting experience; CPA track and career growth are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Accounting/financial experience preferred.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll is expected.

Responsibilities

• Client Service: Manage multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on daily, weekly and monthly cycles.
• Day to Day Transactions: Coordinate and process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and payroll.
• Month End Processing: Complete financial statements and reconciliations; support junior staff as needed.
• Quarterly/Annual Processing: Prepare sales tax returns, Form 1099s and other client items.
