CLA is seeking an Associate to join our CAAS team based out of our Minneapolis, MN office. You will gain experience handling client service, daily accounting processes, and month-end close activities for multiple clients.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and offers competitive compensation in the Minneapolis market, with a range of $53,700 to $93,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Health and wellness benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Accounting and financial experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Handle client service for multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Complete month-end processing and reconciliations, including bank and credit card reconciliations, prepaids, fixed assets, accruals, and other complex items.
• Prepare quarterly/annual processing including sales tax returns and Form 1099s as requested by clients.
