Job summary

CLA, a top-ten national professional services firm, is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our CAAS Manufacturing Industry team based out of Boston, MA or Quincy, MA. The role focuses on client accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end close within a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree and have accounting or financial experience; prior exposure to tax returns is a plus. CLA offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Accounting or financial experience is preferred.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable and month-end close is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle client service tasks including multiple clients and accounts daily.
• Process day-to-day transactions: AP, AR, cash receipts, payroll.
• Perform month-end close and reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax forms and related items for clients.
