Galpin Studio Rentals Hollywood is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support our dynamic operations. As part of a family-owned leader in the automotive industry since 1946, you will record daily financial transactions, manage payables and receivables, reconcile statements, prepare customer statements, and assist with reporting while supervising one direct report.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Strong proficiency and knowledge using excel and QuickBooks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• 10 key typing ability a plus.
• Car rental or dealership experience preferred.
• Availability to work M-F 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions, enter journal entries
• Handle all day to day Accounts Payables and Receivables processing
• Reconcile weekly bank statements
• Prepare monthly customer statements
• Utilize spreadsheets and accounting software
• Handle filing, phone inquiries, and emails
• Manage long-term rental contracts and renewals
• Process cash and check deposits
• Reconcile direct billing accounts
• Update vehicles on recall
• Managing one direct report with room to grow
