AMS Industries, Inc. in Woodridge, IL seeks an Accounting Associate to manage a broad range of accounting duties and ensure smooth financial operations.

Located at our Woodridge facility, this role reports to the Corporate Controllers and supports AR/AP, data entry, ERP setup, and cross-department collaboration. The ideal candidate will be team‑oriented, eager to learn, detail‑minded, and proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience handling AR/AP and data entry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts receivable by processing and recording payments.
• Assist with accounts payable including coding and data entry.
• Set up jobs in our ERP system accurately.
• Serve as liaison between accounting and other departments.
• Support additional duties as assigned.

Located in our Woodridge, IL facility and reporting to the Corporate Controllers, the Accounting Associate will handle a broad range of accounting duties, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts receivable by process and record incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Assist with accounts payable function including the coding and data entry of invoices.
• Set up jobs accurately in our ERP system.
• Function as a liaison between accounting personnel and others within the organization.
• Other duties and responsibilities reasonable and consistent with the position as may be assigned to you.

Qualifications:

• A positive disposition with an ability to work in teams.
• An eagerness to learn and grow in the position.
• Self-motivation with a desire to assume more responsibility.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Excel and Word.
• Must have above-average proofreading skills and have a history of being accurate and thorough.
