Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking an Accounting Associate to support daily accounting functions at our Frederick, MD dealership. You will reconcile cash, deposits, and card transactions while ensuring timely, accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate has basic accounting knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple departments. Prior dealership experience is preferred; MS Office proficiency is a plus.

• Basic to intermediate accounting knowledge and familiarity with general practices.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and dealership management systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.

Aufgaben

• Reconcile and process daily cash, credit card, and deposit transactions.
• Post miscellaneous bank items such as fundings, reserves, warranty payments, and credit card fees.
• Manage dealer exchanges (DX), including paperwork processing, CO completion, and issuing checks when applicable.
• Prepare and post used car wholesale transactions including title reassignment and receipting of fundings.
• Accurately post new vehicle invoices into inventory systems.
• Post all used vehicle auction purchases into accounting software.
• Review and reconcile assigned accounting schedules on a weekly basis.

Prior dealership experience is preferred, and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles is helpful.
