Job summary

Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The position focuses on entering financial transactions, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries to support the dealership's operations.

You will reconcile bank statements, maintain orderly records, assist in preparing financial reports, and liaise with internal teams and vendors to resolve billing issues. Prior accounting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in automotive industry is a plus.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter financial transactions into the accounting system, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Review, verify, and process invoices for payment, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors and suppliers.
• Assist with reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and files, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, summaries, and analysis as needed to support management decision-making.
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve billing issues, payment discrepancies, and other financial inquiries.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department, including filing, photocopying, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Role Summary
