Compass Group USA - Canteen division in Tigard, OR is hiring an Accounting Assistant for a full-time, on-site role. You will assist with accounts payable and receivable under the Accounting Manager, handling invoices, check runs, and vendor inquiries.

The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule (7:00 am to 4:00 pm). Prior AR/AP experience is preferred, with training available and opportunity for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the Accounts Payable function (check runs, entry reviews).
• Review invoices for documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain accounting files.
• Assist with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Develop and run queries using Access and Excel.
