Accounting Assistant to Division Controller

Position Summary
The Accounting Assistant is responsible for working within financial systems after successful completion of training in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
Specific Job Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail
- Manage financial data for multiple locations (34)
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
- Knowledgeable of administration practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing administration functions in the post-acute care facility
- Ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of theadministration department
- Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: accounts payable, payroll, business office support, patient rights, and safety and sanitation
- Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
- Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
- Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care’sCode of Conductand completes mandatoryCode of Conductand other appropriate compliance training
Essential Functions
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
