Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support accounting functions for heavy civil projects. Responsibilities include payroll data entry, timesheet audits, AP invoice matching and coding, and material ticket processing.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good communication. Experience with ViewPoint or pVault is a plus, and an accounting degree is beneficial.

Job Overview: Primoris Heavy Civil is currently seeking for an Accounting Assistant. This role includes performing various Accounting Administration tasks to maintain and support the corporate accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll:
  • Heavy data entry
  • Audit of daily timesheets
  • Certified Payroll & Fringe Benefits
• Accounts Payable:
  • 3- Point invoice matching
  • Invoice coding
• Receive and maintain material tickets
• All-around support of the Heavy Civil Accounting and Project Teams
• Ensure procurement and compliance requirements are being met

Qualifications:

• Exceptional time management skills

• Experience in payroll and accounts payable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Advanced knowledge of mathematics, and basic accounting concepts
• Experience in ViewPoint and pVault software a plus
• Construction Payroll experience a plus
