Job summary

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, scheduling, and close-out of heavy civil construction projects in the Houston, TX area. You will assist the Project Manager to ensure safety, timeliness, and budget adherence while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities include developing plans, tracking progress, coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams, managing documentation, and supporting cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in heavy civil construction or related industry.
• Familiarity with project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and reading blueprints.
