Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an Accounting Assistant to provide essential accounting support for our client using cloud-based systems. You will ensure ledgers are up to date daily, weekly, and monthly, processing invoices, bank transactions, and journals as needed.

You will also participate in month-end close, assist with reconciliations, and generate ad-hoc reports for management. Strong accounting fundamentals and proactive, independent work style are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification is a strong plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented.
• Able to analyze financial records.
• Self-motivated and independent.
• Good time management skills; able to prioritize.
• Self-driven and proactive nature.
• Willing to learn new tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Process sales and purchase invoices, bank transactions, and reclassification journals for revenue, recurring, accrual, and payroll entries.
• Participate in the month-end close process and support timely, accurate close tasks.
• Maintain a clean and updated general ledger, including reconciliations and discrepancy resolution.
• Assist Operations Leadership and Accounting SME to achieve department goals.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for management as needed.
