Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Jr. Accounting Assistant for a remote role open to fresh graduates. You will support accounting tasks across cloud-based systems, ensuring daily to monthly ledger accuracy and processing invoices, bank activity, and journal entries.

You will assist the Accounting SME to reconcile accounts, prepare ad-hoc management reports, and help the department hit goals with proactive, detail-oriented work and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification is a strong plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented and analytical.
• Self-motivated, independent and proactive.
• Good time management and prioritization.
• Willingness to learn new tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Process sales and purchase invoices, bank transactions, and reclassification journals (revenue, accrual, payroll).
• Maintain clean, updated general ledger and perform account reconciliations.
• Assist with ad-hoc reports for management and support team members as needed.
