Job summary

Northeast Power Dry is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support our finance team in a fast-paced environment, handling invoices, payroll support, and bank reconciliations. You will contribute to accurate financial records and ensure compliance while maintaining organized documentation.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience, proficiency with Sage Intacct and Excel, and a strong eye for detail. This is a hands-on role with weekly pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with commission-based payroll is required.

Responsibilities

• Enter and verify invoices, payments, and purchase orders in the accounting system
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Calculate, track, and verify commission-based payroll
• Assist with financial reporting and ensure compliance with company policies
• Maintain accurate vendor and financial records
• Prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
