Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred.
• Associate's degree with relevant experience may be considered.
• Approximately 1 to 3 years of accounting experience.
• Accounts payable or accounts receivable experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data-entry skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and electronic payments.
• Prepare checks and electronic payments.
• Maintain vendor records and documentation.
• Respond to vendor payment inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Support vendor management procedures and internal controls.
• Prepare customer invoices and statements.
• Record incoming payments and monitor outstanding balances.
• Assist with journal entries and monthly closings.
• Enter financial data into accounting systems.
• Complete bank reconciliations and periodic reporting.
• Provide general accounting support and documentation.
