Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting or accounts receivable experience.
• Experience processing lockboxes, cash applications, cash receipts, and reconciliations.
• Experience assisting with journal entries and month-end close.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and think through solutions before escalating issues.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process cash receipts, lockbox transactions, and accounts receivable activity
• Perform daily cash and bank reconciliations
• Assist with cash management reporting and account analysis
• Review and maintain accounts receivable records, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist with customer account research and collection efforts
• Partner with internal departments to resolve accounting and payment-related inquiries
• Investigate and troubleshoot accounting system issues as needed
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
