• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Nonprofit/Volunteering experience a plus!

Beacon Hill Financial is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant/Accounting Assistant with at least one year of accounting experience to support day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional looking to grow their skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This role is full-time, up to 40 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general ledger maintenance and journal entries
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Help prepare financial reports and schedules
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Support audits and respond to accounting-related inquiries
