Job summary

DAX International is seeking an entry-level accountant in New York who will handle daily accounting tasks, journal entries, refunds, and vendor invoicing. You will register and reconcile credit cards, prepare financial statements, and assist with month-end close.

You will create SAP customer accounts, aid budgeting and forecasting, and help prepare financial reports while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, within 1 year of graduation.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Entry-level SAP Business ONE experience (Purchasing -A/P).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks including journal entries, refunds, and vendor invoices.

  • Processing and recording journal entries.
  • Generate refunds.
  • Charge Vendors generate invoices.
  • Registration and reconciliation of credit cards.
  • Reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Assisting with month-end close.
• Create customer accounts in SAP.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Preparation of checks for suppliers.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial issues and improve financial processes.

Requirements
