The Accounting Assistant supports the company's daily accounting operations while also providing basic employee technology assistance as needed.
This is a hands‑on role for a junior‑to‑mid‑level professional with accounting, bookkeeping, office finance, or business administration experience who is organized, accurate, dependable, and willing to learn basic IT support tasks.
The position works closely with the Senior Accountant on accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, reporting, records maintenance, payroll administration, and month‑end support. The role will also assist the Senior IT Manager with routine employee technology needs such as Microsoft 365 support, password and login issues, workstation setup, printer support, and equipment tracking.
This position is best suited for someone whose primary strength is accounting and who is comfortable learning how to assist with common office technology needs in a growing company of approximately 80 employees.
Advanced IT knowledge is not required. Training can be provided for the routine technology support responsibilities of the position.

Associate's degree or coursework in Accounting, Business, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
