Job summary

Global Entertainment Company in Culver City, CA, is seeking an Accounting Specialist for a full-time hybrid role. The position supports daily AP/AR and GL activities, with a three-day in-office schedule and core hours 12:00–2:00 p.m.

You will gain hands-on experience across month-end closing in a global entertainment context. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of accounting experience or an Accounting degree, proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience, OR a degree in Accounting.
• Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred; recent Accounting graduates welcome.
• Foundational knowledge of AP, AR, and general ledger accounting.
• QuickBooks familiarity preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective English communication skills.
• Japanese or Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Availability to work onsite in Culver City three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Review and process invoices, payments, and related documentation.
• Record accounting transactions and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks.
• Monitor banking transactions, incoming funds, and outgoing payments.
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
• Support month‑end closing and prepare supporting schedules and documentation.
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding billing and payment questions.
• Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed.
