Overview

Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

A leading business management firm specializing in providing financial and business support services to clients in the entertainment industry with offices located in Los Angeles County. The firm offers a dynamic work environment where professionals can thrive and grow their careers while serving some of the most renowned names in entertainment. The Senior Staff Accountant will oversee a portfolio of clients, manage their financial records, and oversee daily cash management activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights into financial planning and decision-making
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including posting journal entries, maintaining general ledger accuracy, and reconciling accounts
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and file various tax documents, including quarterly estimated tax payments, sales tax returns, and annual tax filings, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Conduct financial analysis and reporting, offering insights into revenue trends, expense patterns, and profitability metrics
• Partner closely with external stakeholders, such as clients' agents, attorneys, and financial advisors, to provide seamless financial management
• Support the year-end audit process, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with industry standards
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial reporting accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or business related degree
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Prior experience working with QuickBooks
• Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
