Job summary

Dewey Dodge, a Ken Garff Automotive company, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support our centralized accounting team in Clive, IA. Responsibilities include posting entries, reconciling the general ledger, processing payments, and assisting with AP/AR tasks.

The role requires 1–2 years of accounting experience, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with dealership accounting software. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, on-site in Clive.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a dealership setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting is preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and general computer skills.
• Knowledge of dealership accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting entries and reconcile the general ledger.
• Process check payments and ACH transactions in a timely manner.
• Research and process cancellations and chargebacks.
• Reconcile and audit product cancellation schedules and processes.
