Job summary

LeoForce in Austin, TX is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our accounting team. You will manage AP/AR processes and support month‑end close with reconciliations and reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a 4‑year degree in Accounting, has 1+ year of accounting experience, and is comfortable working with ERP systems. We offer health, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, stock purchase, paid time off and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Accounting.
• 1+ year of experience in AR/AP or financial accounting.
• Introductory knowledge of operational accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice entry, payment processing, vendor communication, and monitoring outstanding balances.
• Process payments to vendors and employees through multiple payment methods including ACH, wire transfers, checks, escrow transactions, and credit cards
• Support month-end close activities by preparing reconciliations and assisting with balance sheet account analysis
• Maintain accurate records of vendor invoices and ensure all transactions are properly recorded within the ERP system
• Process customer and vendor credits, returns, and RMAs in accordance with company procedures
• Apply and post incoming customer and supplier payments within the accounting system
• Monitor AR and AP aging reports and assist with follow-up efforts to maintain current account balances
• Assist with payroll processing for assigned offices and ensure timely and accurate payment distribution
• Review and process employee expense reports
• Reconcile and record corporate credit card transactions within the appropriate accounting periods.
