IDR, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join a top client in Birmingham, Alabama.

The role supports day-to-day accounting operations, maintains the general ledger, and assists with close activities while helping modernize processes within a stable team culture. You will partner with finance leadership, handle journal entries, reconciliations, and AP/AR duties, and contribute to improvements across accounting systems and reporting.

Formación

• Hands-on general ledger accounting experience.
• I​nvolvement in month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience with AP/AR and basic cash activity.

Responsabilidades

• Support daily accounting activities and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and prepaid activity.
• Assist with month-end close tasks, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
• Provide hands-on support across AP/AR and basic cash management.
• Contribute to process improvements and system/reporting enhancements.
