Responsibilities

  • Direct monthly and annual general accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and GASB-related accounting.
  • Oversee the monthly financial close in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ensuring accurate postings and period completeness.
  • Manage reconciliations of approximately $1.8 billion in balance sheet accounts in accordance with GAAP and internal controls.
  • Coordinate continuing disclosure obligations per bond resolutions and EMMA submissions.
  • Administer financial structure and integrity of Dynamics 365 and related systems (main accounts, dimensions, projects, resources).
  • Provide guidance on account coding and financial system requirements across the organization.
  • Research and implement accounting standards to ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, FERC, and other reporting requirements.

The Accounting Analyst III oversees key general accounting, financial reporting, and enterprise resource planning functions to support accurate and timely financial information.
