Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with GAAP, GASB, and FERC requirements.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related systems.
• Knowledge of internal controls and monthly close processes.
• Valid Oklahoma driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of residency.

Responsibilities

• Direct monthly and annual general accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and GASB-related accounting.
• Oversee the monthly financial close in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ensuring accurate postings and period completeness.
• Manage reconciliations of approximately $1.8 billion in balance sheet accounts in accordance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Coordinate continuing disclosure obligations per bond resolutions and EMMA submissions.
• Administer financial structure and integrity of Dynamics 365 and related systems (main accounts, dimensions, projects, resources).
• Provide guidance on account coding and financial system requirements across the organization.
• Research and implement accounting standards to ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, FERC, and other reporting requirements.
