Job summary

QIMA, a global leader in testing, inspection, certification, and compliance solutions, seeks a skilled Accountant to manage core accounting activities in the United States. You will maintain the general ledger, support month-end closings, and ensure accurate balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.

You will prepare entries, provisions, and fixed asset postings, and assist audits with clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting with at least 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of local standards; IFRS preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems; fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Execute and control accounting routines, maintaining the general ledger.
• Meet closing schedules and service levels.
• Review balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Prepare accounting entries, provisions, and fixed asset postings.
• Support audits with documentation and explanations.
