Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end close.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems such as SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage and review general ledger accounts to ensure transactions and journal entries are accurate.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries as needed.
• Perform bank, customer, and vendor account reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Analyze customer accounts and assist with past-due balances and collections.
• Assist with cash management and monitoring of daily financial transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end close procedures.
• Analyze financial statements and perform variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for management.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting accuracy.
