Kamatics Corporation in Bloomfield, CT, is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support the Accounting Manager with general accounting, ledger management, financial reporting, and analysis. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or aerospace.

Responsibilities include month-end close, reconciliations, cash processing, AR collection, intercompany activity, and coordination with auditors.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or related field.
• Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 2 years accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing or aerospace.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition.
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and month‑end close.

Responsabilidades

• Perform month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries, and analyze accounting transactions to ensure proper classification in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Process and reconcile cash receipts from lockbox deposits, ACH, and wire transfers to the ledger.
• Drive accounts receivable collection efforts; evaluate customer creditworthiness; monitor accounts receivable aging against open orders to identify and escalate credit risks.
• Monitor, reconcile, and resolve intercompany transactions and settlements.
• Collaborate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and support audit activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and process effectiveness.
