Job summary

Koch Engineered Solutions in Wichita, KS, is seeking a motivated Accounting Analyst to join our RTR team. You will own monthly accounting processes, support internal and external reporting, and drive continuous improvement across our financial close cycle.

The ideal candidate has a solid grounding in GAAP, strong Excel skills, and experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis. A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, with opportunities for growth into

Qualifications

Experience booking journal entries, accruals, and analyzing trial balances.
Solid understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reconciliations.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Own monthly accounting processes.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
Identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Assist in implementation of new accounting standards, policies, and processes.
Help maintain internal controls, reporting processes, and audit readiness activities.
Support accounting impacts of mergers, acquisitions, liquidations, restructurings, and other legal entity transactions.
