Job summary

Koch Engineered Solutions in Wichita, KS, is seeking a motivated Accounting Analyst to join our RTR team. You will own monthly accounting processes, support internal and external reporting, and drive continuous improvement across our financial close cycle.

The ideal candidate has a solid grounding in GAAP, strong Excel skills, and experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis. A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, with opportunities for growth into

Your Job

Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking a strong Accounting Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting Records to Report (RTR) team in Wichita, KS. A successful candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, and has a passion for driving continuous improvement and transformation. The individual should have a solid understanding of accounting concepts, good critical and economic thinking, and strong communication skills. This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. Candidates who exhibit senior-level capability may be considered for a Senior Accounting Analyst role.

What You Will Do

• Own monthly accounting processes
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reporting
• Identify and implement innovation or improvement opportunities
• Assist in implementation of new accounting standards, policies, and processes
• Help maintain and improve internal controls, reporting processes, and audit readiness activities
• Support the accounting impacts of mergers, acquisitions, liquidations, restructurings, and other legal entity transactions

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• General Ledger knowledge and previous experience booking journal entries, accruals, and analyzing trial balances
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation tools
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

What Will Put You Ahead

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience working with multinational legal entities and cross-border transactions.
• Knowledge of foreign currency accounting, legal entity reporting, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience using OneStream, Power BI, Alteryx, or other data analytic and visualization tools
• Experience with accounting consolidation including intercompany eliminations and consolidating international entities with foreign currencies
• Experience in process innovation/transformation/implementation
