Job summary

Koch Engineered Solutions in Wichita, KS seeks an Accounting Analyst to join the Finance & Accounting Records to Report (RTR) team. The successful candidate is self-motivated, with a solid grounding in accounting concepts and strong communication.

This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. As a key RTR contributor, you will own monthly accounting processes, assist with internal/external reporting, and help implement new accounting standards while strengthening internal controls and audit

Qualifications

• General Ledger knowledge and experience booking journal entries, accruals, andanalyzing trial balances
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation tools
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

What You Will Do

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• General Ledger knowledge and previous experience booking journal entries, accruals, andanalyzing trial balances
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation tools
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

What Will Put You Ahead

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience working with multinational legal entities and cross-border transactions.
• Knowledge of foreign currency accounting, legal entity reporting, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience using OneStream, Power BI, Alteryx, or other data analytic and visualization tools
• Experience with accounting consolidation including intercompany eliminations and consolidating international entities with foreign currencies
• Experience in process innovation/transformation/implementation
