Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an Accounting Analyst / Staff Accountant for a growing manufacturing company. This role supports daily accounting operations, maintains the general ledger, and assists with month-end close and financial reporting.

You will work with the Accounting Manager, AR and AP teams, and gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, cash management, audit support, ERP implementation, and process improvements within a collaborative, mentorship-driven

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
Two or more years of accounting experience.
Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables).
Experience with ERP/accounting software systems.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and post journal entries with supporting documentation for month-end close.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure timely, accurate financial transactions.
Generate and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Perform variance analyses and provide financial insights for decision-making.
Reconcile cash and monitor cash flow activity.
Support budgeting and forecasting through financial analysis with operations.
Assist with audit schedules and respond to audit requests.
Improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
