Job summary

Ohalo is seeking an Accounting Analyst to own day-to-day accounts payable, cash reconciliations, and core general ledger activity, reporting to the Controller. This ground-floor role offers hands-on work to build scalable finance processes as Ohalo grows.

You will work with Ramp/Zip and NetSuite, automate repetitive tasks with AI tools, and collaborate with procurement and vendors. 2+ years of AP experience and GAAP knowledge are required; a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting or accounts payable experience.
• Solid understanding of debits/credits and GAAP.
• Self-starter who takes ownership and reasons from first principles.

Responsibilities

• Process, code, and review vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Own vendor and payment reconciliations, analyzing root cause on discrepancies.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries (accruals, prepaids, reclasses).
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for cash and other accounts.
• Identify opportunities to automate AP and reconciliation using AI tools.
