L&M Corrugated Container seeks an Accounting Analyst to support AR and core accounting operations in a growing, family‑owned environment.

You'll split time with AR tasks (invoicing, collections support, cash application) and general accounting analysis (journals, reconciliations, month-end close, reporting), collaborating with teams to improve processes and cash flow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP system experience a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, including comfort following up with customers.
• Manufacturing, packaging, distribution, or B2B experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations with a blend of accounts receivable work and general accounting analysis.
• Accounts Receivable (approximately 30% of role): Apply incoming cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts, generate invoices, monitor aging, resolve discrepancies, support credit memo processing.
• Accounting Analyst (approximately 70% of role): Prepare and post journal entries and reconciliations, assist with month-end/year-end close, analyze data and prepare reports for management, assist with budgeting and variance analysis, maintain GL records, support internal controls and audits, collaborate with departments.

Support Accounts Receivable and Core Accounting Operations for a Growing Manufacturing Company

What You'll Do

As the Accounting Analyst, you’ll support day-to-day accounting operations with a blend of accounts receivable work and general accounting analysis.

Accounts Receivable (approximately 30% of role):

• Apply incoming cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts
• Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past‑due balances
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes
• Support credit memo processing and customer account maintenance

Accounting Analyst (approximately 70% of role):

• Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation
• Support internal controls, audit requests, and process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
